Did you install and/or setup the python-to-postgres module? See

Message Hi,

cinstall initdb fails on RHEL4 U4

I have installed current-1.6.1-1.2.el4.rf.noarch.rpm with Postgresql
8.2.3

Any ideas?

[root@W110023 /]# cinstall initdb

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "/usr/sbin/cinstall", line 191, in ?

    main()

  File "/usr/sbin/cinstall", line 158, in main

    db.selectBackend(config)

  File "/usr/share/current/db/__init__.py", line 28, in selectBackend

    import postgres

  File "/usr/share/current/db/postgres/__init__.py", line 3, in ?

    from postgres import PostgresDB

  File "/usr/share/current/db/postgres/postgres.py", line 3, in ?

    import pgdb

ImportError: No module named pgdb

 Regards

Gerd
