Message Yep.
Yes apache can read them.

/export is 755 recursively and everything is owned:grouped apache. The individual rpms and headers are 744 owned:grouped root.

Message Greetings,

I just setup a 'current' client and a 'current' server on 2 redhat AS3 boxes. My client can register with the server; however, up2date -l runs infinately and shows me no packages.

I am running apache 2x and using mod_python 3.1.4

No errors are being logged by 'current' or 'up2date', however, I have the following errors logged in my ssl_error_log:

[Mon May 16 22:14:18 2005] [error] [client 10.2.120.75] (70014)End of file found
: mod_mime_magic: read failed /export/current/www/rhlas3/listPackages/2005051620
0811
[Mon May 16 22:14:19 2005] [error] [client 10.2.120.75] (70014)End of file found
: mod_mime_magic: read failed /export/current/www/rhlas3/listPackages/2005051620
0811

Does anyone have any insight into what my problem might be? Could I possibly need to add a mime type? Oh, in addition, on the server side, 'current' is being restarted while the client tries to do an 'up2date -l'

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David
