Message have you updated /usr/share/current/packagedb.py file with line:
"i686-redhat-linux" : [ "i386", "i686", "i586", "i486","i386",
"noarch" ],

do you have your "current" server running on standard ports? I mean 80 for
http and 443 for https?
I noticed that up2date --register has problems with sending hardware profile
if your http port is different than 80 even if you had specified proper
noSSLServerURL and ServerURL values in you up2date config.

Message Hello . I have a problem with sending hardware profile for AS 2.1 client to RHEL ES release 3 (Taroon Update 1)( as a server ) .
 When I try to launch rhn_register for the first time I se in the logs notice on Boolean error on the server side . After some time I have an error
  "sending hardware profile" . I thing that there is a problem with channel name for AS 2.1 .
   If somebody managed to make it work with AS 2.1 client
