Message This may or may not be related to current. Since we're all trying
to easily distribute updates across a group of systems, I wondered if
others might also be trying to track the consitency of the installed base
of RPMs.

Does anyone do this with current? Are folks using other tools? Is
anyone checking for deviations of installed RPMs across a network of
systems, or checking that groups of systems have a specific group of RPMs
installed?

    Thanks,

    -charles.

Message /etc/current/RHNS-CA-CERT should be installed under /usr/share/rhn/ on the
up2date client.

Message I think I have seen this before.

If I remember it right, this happened when I did not intall on the client
the RHNS-CA-CERT that cadmin created. Also, check if the client can see your
current server with a fully qualified domain name(FQDN). On my internal
network, I make sure that I have a valid DNS entry for the server, even
though it is a private IP(10.1.1.53). The clients then use this internal DNS
server to connect to the current server.

I have someone trying to connect to my up2date server
they keep getting this

I'm getting this error:
There was an SSL error: [('SSL routines',
'SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE',
'certificate verify failed')]
A common cause of this error is the system time being
incorrect. Verify
that the time on this system is correct.

Now I have verified their systme time is right and
they have the correct certificate installed.

I have a dozen other clients connecting to the server.

But there is NOTING in my Current Logs

Any Ideas ?

Chris
