$CURRENT_DIR/www/redhat-7.2-i386/getPackage/krb5-libs-1.2.2-24.i386.rpm
is just a symlink to: $WHEREVER_YOUR_FILES_ARE/krb5-libs-1.2.2-24.i386.rpm

If apache doesn't have permission to read the latter, you can't get it.

Message There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was:
403: "Forbidden" while attempting to get
$RHN/redhat-7.2-i386/getPackage/krb5-libs-1.2.2-24.i386.rpm

This has me beat. I have apache 2.0.46, and current 1.4.4. I believe
it's an apache error but I don't see how it's happening. The file
that's being accessed is

GET
https://10.0.0.250/XMLRPC/$RHN/redhat-7.2-i386/getPackage/krb5-libs-1.2.2-24.i386.rpm HTTP/1.0" 403 343

The current.httpd.conf file contains:

Alias /XMLRPC/$RHN /home/current/www

<Directory /home/current/www>
    # Make certain this is set - current won't work without it
    Options FollowSymLinks Indexes
</Directory>

<Location ~ "/XMLRPC$">
    PythonPath "sys.path + ['/usr/share/current']"
    SetHandler python-program
    PythonHandler current_apache
</Location>

<Location /XMLRPC/$RHN>
    PythonPath "sys.path + ['/usr/share/current']"
    PythonAccessHandler current_apache
    PythonTypeHandler current_apache
</Location>

My files and directories under the current tree are owned by apache.

Any ideas?
