Message I am running into the same thing, I run cadmin create_channel --name "RHEL4
64bit" --label RHEL4-64 --arch ia32e --release 4AS --description "RHEL 4AS
64Bit" on the current server, on the client I get the 'No compatible
channels' error

What am I missing?

Thanks

Arg,

Try making the arch of your channel ia32e. Don't understand why its
that. Check our your systemid file and see what it has as your
architecture. Should be "x86_64-redhat-linux"
