Message I'm attempting to install Current 1.6.1 after using it on another
machine successfully for a year or so.

I've installed on RHAS 4 U2 64-bit. I've successfully run 'cinstall
initdb', and verified the database tables have been created (I'm using
MySQL).

However, when I attempt to run 'cadmin create_channel <various options>'
I get the traceback listed at the end of this email.

According to google, this error is most commonly the result of
out-of-sync clocks. However, since in this instance, the client and
server are the same machine, that shouldn't apply (but I run ntp on this
box, regardless).

Any suggestions? I have strace output of a failed 'up2date --nox
--register' run as well, if that might help.
