Message Great, thanks Jack. It's not a huge deal.

My problem is that maildirmake is in both my qmail and maildrop packages
and the maildirmake from maildrop should replace the one provided by qmail
when both are installed. I thought about splitting maildirmake into
separate packages, but there are only a couple systems I use maildrop on,
so it didn't seem worth the bother. What I do to work around it is install
the qmail package by default in my kickstart script, and force maildrop on
the systems I need it on. I also put qmail in my skip list and thought I
could use the --get option to get newer packages of qmail and/or maildrop
and force them in manually with rpm. I used to copy the packages manually
and force them with r pm before I had a current server, so I can continue
to do the same. It isn't very often that I need to do this anyway.

Its all pretty ugly, but I can't think of another way besides splitting up
the qmail and maildrop packages to avoid the conflict. Perhaps I will if I
start using maildrop on more machines.

Btw, the current server is working great, otherwise. It sure saves me a
lot of time and bandwidth getting all the updates from red hat on each
machine, not to mention that the machines in the mz aren't even able to
connect to rhn. All of our machines have rhel subscriptions, but I refuse
to pay them for a proxy or satellite server, as I feel we're paying them
enough as it is for the subscriptions. I really appreciate all your work.
It's too bad red hat didn't appreciate their paying customers more though.
:)

Thanks,

Trevor
