Message In the last 24 hours I upgraded my current server from RHL 7.3 to RHL 9,
then from 9 to Fedora Core 1. Red Hat 9 seemed to work well as a current
server, but I ran into some rather interesting problems with Fedora Core
as the server.

(Ugh, almost forgot to mention, this is the 20031115 snapshot.)

7.x clients seem to work perfectly. 8.0 and 9 clients give me weird
tracebacks like the following (from a 9 client), when they try to
download any files:

[root@localhost root]# up2date lynx

Fetching package list for channel: redhat-linux-i386-9...
########################################

Fetching Obsoletes list for channel: redhat-linux-i386-9...

    self._parser.Parse(data, 0)

column 0

The error is always "xml.parsers.expat.ExpatError: not well-formed
(invalid token): line 1, column 0". This does not happen if no packages
are being downloaded, though.

What other information should I provide to help get this fixed?
