Ah, and since I use 4.1 i dont seem to have that problem...

Message Well...with some more research it looks like the transaction isolation
level for 5.0.22 and innodb is set to REPEATABLE READ. For Current to
work properly it looks like we need to set that to READ COMMITTED.
Well, that takes care of one problem.
