We have tried this with Current running on RHEL 3AS.

RH 7.3 clients work fine.

RHEL 3AS clients produce following error:

Message Tested current-0.20031115-1.8x with RHWS-2.95 updated to RHWS-3
compiling src.rpms.
As I reported in 3-Oct
(http://current.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=151), when
current is runnign on RHEL, RH9 and RHEL clients can't update (download
packages). RH7.3 clients update without problems.
I don't know if it is a problem with real RHWS-3 or only with my hand
made RHWS-3.

Thanks, Ricardo.-

Message I don't know yet. It _should_, as I'm not aware of any critical
version changes.
