Message Hi,

I'm working on queue management at the moment, created a nice table
PROFILE_QUEUE, made queue.get and queue.submit do the real thing and
life is sweet. So far...

However, some of the commands we can queue are things like package.verify
and package.verifyAll. These functions (amongst others) result in a
potentially very answer, like a list of files a package is missing.
Also, some functions can get a potentially large list of parameters.
Same issue.

What would be a nice way of handeling this? Currently I define parameter
and data as varchar(1024) in which the repr-form of the dict is placed.
Way to short. But than again, i'm not sure we really need the results.
I will probably keep the data truncated, but if you have a better idea,
i'm very interested to hear it.

    Met vriendelijke groet,
        Pauline Middelink
