Message Patrick,

Is this your last email to me? Just making sure I pick up where I dropped off.

As far as I can tell glibc-headers-2.3.2-95.27.i386.rpm is okay.

Is this the correct rpm syntax to test a file?

pjgeev@moe / $ rpm --checksig /local/rhel3/glibc-headers-2.3.2-95.27.i386.rpm
/local/rhel3/glibc-headers-2.3.2-95.27.i386.rpm: (sha1) dsa sha1 md5 gpg OK

As far as the trace back, I am no sure. I did drop the earlier channel
that I had setup in the db since I had several in there before I got
the channel name string setup correctly. Sorry about that if it has
caused any confusion. I will not change anything major like that
again. Currently there is a single channel setup in the database which
points at the /local/rhel3 directory.

Here is what is in the db:

root@moe /local # psql -h localhost moe -U pjgeev
Welcome to psql 7.3.4-RH, the PostgreSQL interactive terminal.

Type: \copyright for distribution terms
       \h for help with SQL commands
       \? for help on internal slash commands
       \g or terminate with semicolon to execute query
       \q to quit

moe=# select * from channel;
 channel_id | parentchannel_id | name | label |
arch | osrelease | description | lastupdate
          7 | | Redhat Enterprise Linux 3 | rhel3 |
i386 | 3AS | test |
(1 row)

moe=# select * from channel_dir;
 channel_dir_id | channel_id | dirpathname
              7 | 7 | /local/rhel3
(1 row)

I have attached the old current.log (renamed current.log.old) file
from the previous run as well which used a different label name for
the channel.

Well it does see your files so its not a permissions problem. But in
the above run the Current server tracebacked during the scan channel
function. It didn't appear to do that perviously, correct?

Is /local/rhel3/glibc-headers-2.3.2-95.27.i386.rpm a non-currpt RPM?
